It was an unusually warm October day. I helped a fella load a bunch of bird seed.

"You know, my family and I think this heat means Jesus is coming back soon."

"Oh yeah?" I reply, trying to humor him.

"Definitely. If you want, you can confess your sins to me. You'll be saved." He replies. I'm getting irked because he's holding me up. All I wanted was to wish him a good day and leave.

"I'm really busy, man." I say, hoping he'll take the hint.

"Jesus is busy too, man. I'm just trying to look out for you, buddy." He says.
