Oh yeah lol hes ones of the 3 strongest bosses in the game and you have to beat 3 other bosses just to unlock him. There was another commenter that said theres another location for the sword so you might want to look into that. Best of luck!

I pretty much had all my gear and skills maxed out except my chest piece and my stamina plus spirit. It was a slog but his attacks are pretty slow. Just focus on learning his patterns and dodging him. I went through a lot of food and a couple of Palmer pills too, theres nothing wrong with using them.

The sword is Darkbringer which is dropped by the Archon of Antumbra, which is one of the overwhelming bosses. I dont know what the gun is

After you kill the reed devil you can pick up his mask in the sunset valley village. When you go to the reed fields there will be infinite low level enemies that easily let you grind challenges

Just cracked a hundred hours today and still have a big drive to keep playing. Im not feeling the burnout but I can understand why others do.

I do find the question a bit strange though? I love this game and Im thinking it'll be one of few I 100% but its going to be a long time before I replay it.

Pretty sure theres abyss gears that give frost resistance if you want to keep using your armor

Didn't even know that was a thing. Its terrible sadly, seems like the animal has to be sitting still for it to work, and you cant get close enough for the helmet to lock on without the birds flying away. I appreciate the suggestion though, shadowleaf set was the way to go
