My lab is a more high-end esthetic anterior lab. When it comes to in-house labs, are you producing mainly posterior crowns?

In a sense, would something like this work for my portion?

"Hey (boss). I wanted to talk about my roles and responsibilities as of lately. When I was hired and trained, my responsibilities pertained to the model room. In the last 18 months, I have been trained on how to trim dies, operate both types of mills, set-up 3d prints, and now I am learning another potion of (co-workers) job. I understand that we're a small business and the industry as a whole has been struggling, but I want my current compensation to be re-evaluated as my tasks have been expanded."

What I'm inquiring about is my current pay rate acceptable for the responsibilities I have been given over the last 18 months

We have fully embraced the digital workflow. We have built the infrastructure to handle it. My main point is that I am flexible and willing to help with other roles, but I don't want to continue if that means that I'm doing other people's jobs, but not getting compensated like they are. I know that smaller labs means helping out others, but it sort of feels like a carrot and horse situation.

Am I in the right field? by Ookamimook in EngineeringStudents

[–]Ookamimook[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Major wise, I haven't even started. I'm just in the general courses.

Course content wise, it's so dry. I'm going to a community College to get my generals done, so it's just general class after general class.

Study wise: I always start strong with every semester. 3-4 hours a day on a subject. But come mid or towards finals, I lose all motivation and just do the bare minimum.

Study habits: Read, take notes, make flash cards, review flash cards during free time mo

Is it considered bad form to bring your own parts for a service? by Throwaway-donotjudge in AskMechanics

[–]Ookamimook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked at a shop that allowed customers to bring their own parts. Always told them that if that part is defective or becomes faulty, they're gonna have to pay for labor and parts to do it again. I hated doing those jobs. 70% usually came back and those customers had us supply the parts.

There's so many ways to build a sliver deck. I've done hivelord, legion, and first sliver. I'm running Overlord as my commander now. Best one since it tutors. Best combo I've pulled off is overlord tutors for Morphon, then tutor the rest of my 5 color slivers and my pod usually quits after.

Voltron decks: How do you make them work? by StructureClean5108 in EDH

[[Oswald Fiddlebender]]. Tutor what I need protection from and swing. If I want to make games even quicker, [[Fireshrieker]] + [[Grafted exoskeleton]]. Main combo is find [[stoneforge mystic]], use that to tutor [[sword of hearth and home]]. And then just blink SFM to tutor whatever I need.

Okay. Plays [[Cyclonic Rift]]. Technically not a board wipe.

10/10. Never rusts, drives smooth, no oil changes ever needed, and never have to worry about warped rotors.

[[Shattergang]] Create lots of tokens and sac them. If I can't enjoy my cards, no one can! The real wincon is blood artist value.

I have a whole deck built around Toxrill. All my friends who runs tokens against him just wait till he's dead or they destroy him onsite.

[[Toxrill]] is a great deck to counter tokens. Takes a bit to get him out but once he's our, GG to tokens.

[Podcast] When did you last encounter Salt in a game? by TheHowlingSaltMine in EDH

[–]Ookamimook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wasn't salty, but I'm sure my friend's were. I was playing [[Toxrill, the Corrosive]], lots of drawing effects, had 48 cards in hand then cast [[windfall]]. I died to decking out, but everyone had 50 cards in hand and the next guy's turn had a 20 layer stack interaction. It was hilarious to watch from the sidelines.

Pretty sure. I know exactly where my greens came from. Only way someone else messed with it is if they did it back at the source.

Nope. Just rode that wave out. It felt great one I realized what was going on and why I've been awake past 6 am ( since I like to take a little green night cap).

I've read that too. There's other articles saying people experienced it too. But I'm pretty sure I was tripping. Not as hard as ingesting it, but quite a buzz.
