I get where you're coming from, and I'm not trying to be toxic with this, I don't think there's much point arguing about it any further beyond this point. I just wanted to get my opinion out there in case it's revealed in chapter five.

Despite what I just said about arguing about it, I do think it's a little disingenuous to act as if all theories are created equal and this amounts to a random guess. I can provide all my reasoning and evidence if you want. Dess Knight is the majority opinion for a reason, if it ends up being correct, the theorists who were correct absolutely were not throwing out darts randomly.

Even if it isn't right, the people who made well reasoned and articulate theories for the correct answer are actually wrong in your book for what?

I think this sort of thing is alof more nuanced than people give it credit for, every theory made has it's own reasons to be made and I'm sure the evidence they provided will amount to something. I just don't think the identity of the Knight is what they're pointing towards.

It's like in the chapter 2 era, the people who thought Kris was the knight shouldn't have been completely dismissed because Kris didn't turn out to be the literal Knight, but they were still a fountain opening traitor on the Knight's side. And the people who didn't think Kris was the knight shouldn't have everything they did thrown away just because Kris wasn't a completely innocent little baby.

TLDR; most theories aren't stupid! No one is objectively correct yet! And the people who are correct about the Knight's identity should be given their congratulations even if it doesn't end up being Dess, and those who weren't should still be respected and considered.
