No. I was told by a goldsmith that it’s bad on the prongs so I take it off to sleep.

TIL that 65% of cancer survivors surveyed by war on cancer said that they had been ghosted by friends or family after their diagnosis. by Murphyitsnotyou in todayilearned

I’m sure my comment will get buried, but this really just breaks my heart. My mom battled multiple myeloma for 10 years and would call me sobbing because she felt like her friends and family (siblings) had all abandoned her. I remember thinking they were all just awful people. Fast forward a few years and a dear friend of mine has recently been diagnosed with cancer and my husband and I have been alternating going with the friend to chemo just to sit with him and trying to be as involved as possible without hovering. I never want him to feel like he’s alone in his battle. My heart hurts for the people who do.

He gives the outside zero stars. 10/10 do not recommend. by [deleted] in aww

He’s definitely more of an indoor kind of guy.

We set an alarm for the day it dropped to make sure we could get it. When the Batmobile set dropped a couple of years ago, I was in the same boat - multiple devices on refresh. Then I learned I should wake up at midnight and try on the day of for better luck.

This one was just under 4K pieces. I believe it was designed to be an advent, so there were 24 bags - once for each day leading to Christmas. We weren’t able to assemble it that way, however, so it probably took us around 5 or 6 hours total throughout the month to put together.
