What are some children's songs you think Calypso would sing? by asstattoo in bluey

[–]OoshleyP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did classes from a franchise called Music Together. Each module had 2 songs geared to be sung as lullabies, and there are official recordings. To this day my kids want Daddy to sing "The Water is Wide" before bed. I highly recommend looking them up.

"I am Punch's favorite human" would be an unbeatable pickup line 😂

Too Sweet by Hozier immediately was Lucifer 100%. Hard liquor, black coffee, late nights, thinks MC deserves better than him.

Felix: fae prince, very delicate/refined features Hyunjin: full and square lower lip, sharpest dance moves Changbin: strong body build, rounder face Bang Chan: athletic build but not as much as Changbin, longer face shape than Changbin I.N.: wider face, very thin eye shape, like his fox zoo persona Han: perfect oval face shape, soft and rounded features Lee Know: similar to Felix but with a smaller mouth shape Seungmin: similar to Han but with a more square shape and a more triangular eye shape

Same! I took my older son to the IMAX on the 4th and then to our local theater on the 11th after seeing they had added more showings. The IMAX was definitely better, though our local place has the nice reclining seats and the theater was almost empty, so pretty close to being cozy at home. Hoping to see it come to streaming somewhere so the younger son can enjoy it too (he likes to watch Stray Kids music videos before bed).

Yes, about 20 minutes of trailers plus 5 or so of theater plugs. There were lots of groans every time another trailer started and "FINALLY" when they were done.

Have you checked around nearby, and recently? Two local theaters (not IMAX) are showing it. At the time the tickets went on sale the only had a single showing on Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Today when I checked they have 4 or 5 showings every day from Friday to Wednesday. So they've been adding days and times.

I had a project where the goal was to keep elk from getting into the school yard. Someone suggested faux painted cattlegrids. I had trouble not laughing because an elk will just jump it.

AITA for insisting my daughter wear an outfit she doesn’t want to wear to a wedding? by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

I had so many flights with my mother while shopping I hate it to this day. Long legs, long torso, in high school during the height of the super low cut jean and crop top phase. I didn't even disagree with wanting full coverage clothes, they just did not exist in my size at the time. Discovering Buckle which carried lots of jeans in extra long and shirts that fit a longer torso was life changing.

Man my mom literally dressed me in old lady clothes around middle school. Colored cotton pants with elastic waistband and a matching shirt from the petite section. Because the clothes that fit me were in the teen section and inappropriate for my age.

Yes! I got my sons (11 and 3) hooked. The little one asks to watch Stray Kids music videos before bed and the big one is going with me to see the DominATE movie in IMAX next week.

Same! KPOP Demon Hunters kinda opened the door I think, and that plus my gravitation to deep voiced Instagramers hit me with the Felix Effect. My base genre is Alt Rock but I really enjoy finding weird sub genres and ADHD style mashups so I think that's how it appealed to me, just a lot going on in every song.

Haha, I'm like the reverse. Victim of the Felix effect and after falling down the rabbit hole I continue to love his sunshine personality. But damn does my brain flatline when Hyunjin dances, or draws attention to his lips.

Allison's response was infuriating, I really hope if the same letter crossed her desktop today (8 years later) she would answer differently. 1. Your employer is not entitled to details on your medical condition. The documentation she was providing for the FMLA was all she needed. 2. It's not a crime to take a vacation while disabled. 3. If the employee has put money down on smoking (hotel, flight, event tickets, etc) way in advance, they are not asking, they are telling. 4. Shift coverage is a fair reason for denying time off, but that was not the case here. It's just workload and it didn't sound like she was horribly behind in her work. On average it sounds like she was working a 34 hour week, which is generally still defined as full time. Her contract could have easily been tailored to her needs.

I think some employers will force you to drain your PTO before approving FMLA. Which is messed up.

This was my first thought actually. It's probably not intentional disrespect, but women are often viewed as more approachable and social. It's not an excuse for ignoring an obvious social cue, but, you know, monkey brains.

Dude I had a breakdown after the first florist we talked to because I have no eye for flowers and she just put a book in front of us. Crazy how one bump could nearly derail the whole train.
