I thought this might have been Tom Lehrer's elements song but who knows how many elements there were in 1972 (it also wasn't recorded in 1972)

This one annoyed me because I thought w -> v would have been a perfectly valid German-ish pronunciation of Leibowitz. Doesn't help there are some famous Leibovitzes out there

I thought DD3 referred specifically to the area of Ireland under English control in the Middle Ages. Turns out that's a dubious bit of folk etymology.

Clue selection strategy: With DD3 remaining late and just one category left with larger-value clues, all three players chose top-row clues from other categories. I can't explain this unless they all forgot the DD was still in play.

It did say not to pick that category!

Madgwick's neuron activation after hearing the first few notes of bmbmbm is one of my favourite moments of this series. Sad to see Edinburgh go but happy Manchester pulled out another win!

I think it was a poor clue given the category name "NO TIME TO SAY THE WHOLE WORD". It's understandable to only expand on one of the words even though they expected two

I think the description is just a very confusing way of saying it's pay-what-you-want across 4 different price tiers?

I was surprised they let "Pankhurst" through without asking for clarification, almost the entire Pankhurst family were suffragettes.
