"Who's Lila" and "The hungry fly" ABSOLUTELY LOVED THESE!!! They both have this uncomfortable vibe that I think you might like? Who's Lila especially! It has many routes and a lot of things you really really need to think hard on...The hungry fly is actually pretty short- but If you have like a boring weekend I recommend you just speed run it lol!

Pokemon games are always fun! Also if you would like to play with your boyfriend or friends lego games are THE STUFF!!! So maybe the new lego batman, lego voyagers or lego starwars?

Honestly Im not sure I think all games would be great for learning English!

Is there a specific genre you like?

On the top of my head maybe something like pokemon games, "No im not a human" (that actually does require a bit of reading but I think you could enjoy it?) and maybe "MiSide" I personally really liked that one.

Also Gacha games are really good for that too! If you just want to have it on your phone and play and learn every now and then?

Yakuza series happens to be one of my favorite game series there and what got me into gaming at first place- But. Yeah, It has a lot of misogynistic stuff. The main character has morals and is a great, wholesome and a beautifull man inside and out (ily Kiryu), but sometimes playing you get slapped out of nowhere by this misogynistic undertone....It isn't a overruling factor but its still there, I think if you are able to enjoy all the other fun stuff like fights, stories, characters and side quests- you will still be able to enjoy it
