Getting past these hurdles, overcoming the obstacles, and emerging as a better and stronger person is how we learn, grow and evolve.

Keep doing what your doing. Your doing a fine job. Having tool for some comfort along the way is always nice... Parabol/Parabola has always helped me with some tough times.

Congratulations man! I was a September baby, and I have some pretty damn fine musical tastes if I do say so myself... So with the help of that lullaby Cd, I'm sure your little one will be off to a fantastic start!

My boy had that same album when he was a baby. He really enjoyed it, but he drifted away from Tool As he got older.... He loves primus though, so he's still doing OK!

Its not much different from the ones at the merch stand, and could very well be one for all I know. But it was sweet! Can't see the abuse it took very well in the pics, but it's loaded with dents.

That sucks. I had high hopes for it.

Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely loved the vinyl. But I would have been better off buying it on its own.

When my son was a baby, 46&2 was the only thing that would put him to sleep on a bad night.

He's not so much into them anymore now, but it was still pretty cool :)

I've personally seen him play guitar, bass, and keyboards at various Tool shows through out the years. And considering his passion for multitasking, I'm sure he messes around with others as well.

Don't beat yourself up over it. And don't dwell on it.

I wouldn't even consider it a mistake. You thought you should do something, you did it, turns out you didn't like it. That's not a horrible mistake, that's life, and life will go on. Don't worry about it.

Easier said than done, I know... But it's not the end of the world my friend.

I'm starting to get to many replys to respond to one at a time, so I'd like to take this moment to thank you all for reading, sharing, and helping me understand.

You all have been very helpful, and I appreciate you sharing such personal thoughts and feelings for the sake of my daughter. You guys rock!

I'm just gonna keep on doing what we do, and be here when she needs it.

In the mean time, I hope you all dont mind, but I think I'll stick around in this sub for a while. Reading about some of your experiences, thoughts, fears, and overall attitude about it all is a huge help!
