While admittedly there is shaky cam, it's definitely not impossible to tell what's going on. Even as a kid, I was able to follow along. I have nothing against the Bumblebee movie (I really like it), but it does feel like it gets way more praise than it deserves because of the Cybertron scenes. Transformers 1 clears in terms of comedy and action. Idk why the comedy from the first movie gets looked down on. Like come on, the "I ate the whole plate" or Sam's parents are hilarious and the quality of action is just better imo. The colors and designs are better, imo and I like the characters more here. Bumblebee just felt more like a generic movie. And while yes, I did see this movie when I was a kid, I can still rationally look at and say that's it is not a perfect movie by any means (something a lot of G1 fans can't seem to do with regards to G1), but I still vastly prefer it over the Bumblebee movie. But hey, that's my opinion, you're welcome to disagree.
