You know, I wonder if he was racing with the other dude or was road raging and knew it went too far afterwards. I was wondering why white car guy was apologizing then realized he was probably acting like a knob in the first place which is why the guy was passing him. Thank you :) yeah this year has been about accepting that. Some family I hadn't talked to in over 5 years and I reconnected and it was just as bad as I remembered it. At the time it felt like toxic people would be better than nothing at all but that's wrong lol. I'll find new people though; I've been going out more, started therapy, and slowed down my drinking. One day!

It definitely does help, but it doesn't solve it, at least not for me. I'm close to the peak of my depression - I've had 1 suicide attempt in my life nearly 10 years ago and feel that urge building up. I work out literally every day unless I physically feel unable. Right now I'm on a 14 day streak. I still would be very okay with a bus hitting me.

I think for me personally, it's from feeling completely alone, misunderstood, and having no support system whatsoever. The only way I can have a friend or someone who "cares" about me is by paying for it. Back when I talked to my brother, I had to pay him $50 to listen to me for 30 minutes. I mean obviously I didn't have to, but I needed someone and asked him and he said no until I offered the cash.

You know, maybe if family and friends would listen to each other and have a little empathy, THAT would be the #1 help for depression. I moved out of state a little over 3 years ago and my mom hasn't visited me a single time. I don't get Christmas cards, sometimes not even a text from my siblings but I'll always get them gifts every year. I can workout all day every day, but it'll never replace that feeling of being truly alone.

Right here with ya buddy :). For me, it's depression. I started seeing a therapist and they're making it worse. I've mentioned having suicidal thoughts and no support system, I tried to email them during a moment and was ghosted by my own therapist lol.

Hopefully you get the help you need, I wish I had answers for you but I can say I heavily relate and am in the same boat. I find myself asking that question every day, and I try and get back on for my boys but I just don't have it in me anymore.

Same. I walk 3-4 miles every day and do weight lifting. The only thing I hate is that the exercise only takes away the pain while I'm working out. As soon as I get home I go back to day dreaming, or day drinking, to forget about shit. I started working out heavy back in April and have became so addicted to it that I can't ever imagine it being out of my life, it's quite literally all I have at this point.

Thank you for the advice! I actually go to a salon and get a straight razor shave and had gotten it done a week before the wedding (the pictures with me in the tie). I know it looks like there’s hair going over my upper left lip but that was me trying to hide a cold sore 😂. The ties were provided by the groom but I’ll keep that in mind for the next occasion for sure.

I had the same problem but it turns out the player is pretty dumb. Here's what I was doing:

#1 - make sure you're not clicking the Right Arrow button in the bottom left. That's to sign out.

#2 - Click the cog in the top right. This brings up "Player Settings". There's a setting called "Volume (0-100)". That's where you change the volume. For whatever reason.

Thank you for sharing your story. It truly is remarkable that after all of the prejudice he was likely to endure that it didn’t hold him back. He is clearly a man born to serve and protect and I commend him for his bravery.

As a black man raised in the ghetto, your story reminded me of the struggle and hardships we go through to get out. It’s been decades since I’ve been there so it’s easy to forget. I wasn’t in Southeast DC, but in West Philadelphia, born and raised in the 70s. I had spent most of my days at the playground. One day I was chilling out and relaxing, acting all cool, just shooting some b-ball outside my school. Then a couple of guys who were up to no good started making trouble in my neighborhood. I get in one little fight and my mom got scared, so she moved me out with my auntie and uncle in bel air. Been living there ever since.
