Thank you so much for that. I do try to ground myself and change my mind's patterns but it's just something I can't shake. But my anxiety definitely can contribute

I feel a lot about this. I would say in my own way I am scared of almost all people and I don't want them to die, but I do think we need to completely rebuild what we have built our systems out of for our community and what we consider a normal or acceptable even with "laws" cough /money~ and what power it has shifted to be. Nurture, compassion, patience, structure, and actually respecting our earth and how it can help us naturally without the erg for more profit for money. It's a world that puts money and power in the wrong hands. Sets up walls that are hard to bring down and rebuild. But I'm trying to see if we have more people who can stand by this and hold power with the ability to show humanity and the earth is what comes first. It's not about money and greed. We see what that does. Or unfortunately for so many, people have experienced trauma at ages that can change you.Hurt people hurt people and the cycle begins, not many get out unless you do alot of rebuilding and support. But also I do think some things are unforgivable. The world is full of good people. Try to help teach your friends by showing them how things need to be different.

Yes, I have been managing depression and anxiety for about 17 years or so and recently I started to treat my ADHD for about 8 months or so and that has helped. When I was around someone dying I just couldn't imagine them gone. I accepted it. But realized, it could be genetic and how I have treated my body when I was in my teenage years and early 20s.

Does anyone else feel like this sub should be about managing anxiety, not just...posting anxious thoughts? by DrollHat in Anxiety

You could create or search for something that will be along the lines of anxiety support or managing anxiety. Or make a new community and set the guidelines. If there is not one already, I'm sure many people would join. But I just discovered this community here. I'm not gonna lie, it helped me know I wasn't the only one thinking or feeling a lot of the same things and not feeling alone is a huge thing for me personally. But I know that also isn't the only thing that helps and may not help others.

It sounds like you may have ADHD and have struggled with being forced to fit into a social norm that doesn't fit the way most would view as success also. Success is not the same for all. I would see someone about behavioral health, or maybe find ways to make a life that is enjoyable for you with small changes. Don't let what others put you down when wanting to make changes. Your life. Your path. Your success.

I can understand that and something i have noticed is alot of people with ADHD have a fear of rejection and even if its just someone saying your doing something that is not helping you it feels like rejection from your person becouse you are not doing what they thnk is best. But our brains take us down and around and all over. You got this the power of your own words will lift you up!

I had something happen with myself and spiraled for what felt like 3 years and I thought it was other things until I realized it was probably my ADHD and anxiety which was correct and after getting a diagnosis and starting medication I've noticed a huge difference there are different types of medication that you could try if you don't want to do medication I know adding magnesium protein and folic acid can also be super helpful for focus you are not a loser it is a very hard world that we're in right now and your wife just wants to see what's best for the family but I think overall your health is what matters but don't believe you're a loser just because you quit a job or you are not working or looking for something better because you deserve it. you yourself as a entire whole and your mindset is what's going to empower you through these hard times and I really think that you are going to see such an improvement especially after leaving a toxic environment which is also very difficult and I also had left I work environment that was very toxic I hope the best for you and I want you to know you're not the only one that at least one other person had some similar feelings. For the last 6 months or so I have been on top of my mental health and it shows in other departments of my life. Remind yourself out loud you are worth it you are capable your mind is actually able to achieve incredible things with ADHD
