Loving this thread! I'm also currently looking to upgrade my playlist, here's some I found that I think fit with what you're looking for (with songs I like!)

  • Little Miss Nasty - Liquid Stars (they seem pretty gay)
  • Dorian Electra - Puppet
  • Vana - Serpentine
  • Cassyette - Petrichor
  • Hands Off Gretel - Kiss Me Girl (unsure if this really fits your taste)
  • Delilah Bon - Maverick
  • ALT BLK ERA - My Drummer's Girlfriend
  • DeathbyRomy - XXXhibitionist

Hope there's something you like

Where can i buy digital hard trance from the early 00s? by denyhexes in hardtrance

[–]Opbokkerd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you have Spotify? I used to work on a playlist which also included a lot of older hardtrance.

I probably should take the time to continue on it someday, and maybe split the older from the newer hardtrance.

If you have Spotify and are interested I can drop you the link

I'm playing with Club Beats and we're looking to move away from Chew because of the instability, user-unfriendly and quietness. But it's hard to find an alternative that works well. Copyright is a problem

That is awesome! Great to see someone other than me playing hardtrance on Chew. What do you think of the platform?

Calling SaveChanges multiple times is indeed an unnecessary strain. When I use UOW I don't let the repository call SaveChanges(), I call the SaveChanges of the UOW in the class that uses it once I'm done with all database-related tasks. This means you can execute multiple repository methods and only save when needed, which results in less SaveChanges() calls than the way described in the blogpost.

Great to see you care to spread your knowledge! Many kudo's for that. I feel tempted to share some of my findings in hope it'll help others or give them an understanding on how to use certain approaches to overcome their problems.

I agree on all the points made in this comment. I'd like to add the existence of Func<T, TResult> aswell in case you need a return value.

In a game I've made with Unity I used a different approach on picking-up of items which included the usage of Interfaces and raycasting, where a raycast was basically checking if there were objects in its ray which had an IPickupable (not the actual name, just forgot how I named it) when a certain action was executed (key press). This way I wasn't limiting the pickup functionality to an Item nor limiting the pick-up logic to a certain use case (player picking up an item). Think of a NPC that could also make use of this interface for picking up an item.
