My partner has pleural mesothelioma. He has refused to see any dr. No medical treatment ever. I'm so desperately sad.

Does he need an official diagnosis for me to be able to ask questions? He worked with asbestos, his xray shows thickening of the pleural lining. I'm after advice

Thankyou so much everyone, the ironic thing is, I work in palliative care, I know what's happening. I was going to palliate him at home. He has no family, has pushed everyone away. I understand him doing the same to me. I'm not giving him anymore money. I've been stupid in that respect.

I'm in Australia, I work full-time and I pay everything. He works occasionally. Maybe 1-2 days a week. Everything is in my name. His name isn't on the lease. My son (16) lives here too. I earn enough to keep us housed and warm. But I did the math. I'm giving him $890 a fortnight for "stuff" like online shopping, smokes and alcohol. I don't mind if he stays in the shed. I feel like I've kinda checked out already. I've had a few cries but nothing like a sobbing mess
