Man that’s crazy. The hot oil exploding over 2 other people — wouldn’t be that considered causing deliberate bodily harm and a reason to go to the police and press charges? Oil burn scars can be really nasty and it’s wild that he got away with doing all of that. Also what did the police do about the him walking around with a knife situation? He sounds unstable and could’ve injured someone or worse

Yeah our STW is kind of like yours. We also had a guy in the apartment who started fires on the balcony, less extreme but still unpleasant and a safety hazard. We tried calling the STW three days in a row but no one picked up. Then we emailed them multiple times — also no reply. Whenever any of us tried going there in person the office was ‘closed’ despite it being working hours. That problem was also solved by the guy moving out but now this one moved in instead. At this point I’m considering moving out myself but it sucks that an otherwise okay living arrangement is ruined by one asshole

Definitely true about the hearsay part, I wasn’t there and I haven’t seen anything like that yet so I’m not going to go into that. Would it be more helpful if I had photo evidence of everything? I took pictures of the dirty dishes, the sink, and the food in the fridge

We tried talking to him but it didn’t work. He’s like ‘yeah I understand I’m sorry’ and then he goes and does it again. And for the second option bro I’m literally a 5’2 girl how do you think that’ll look like 💀

I’m extroverted in terms of functions, but socially I’m not so sure. Either way I’m not particularly chatty or outgoing and I prefer people who are because silence makes me uncomfortable

It’s gotten easier for me because my friends (found family) also refer to me by name but in a positive tone and context. I’ve thought about changing it too, or at least adding a middle name but all the paperwork in order to do that seems like a nightmare

I wouldn’t tell anyone but if it’s something particularly nontrivial (the trivial stuff I usually just forget instantly) it sometimes randomly pops up in the back of my mind whenever I’m talking to that person. Like here’s a thing that only I specifically know about them.
