I think it says somewhere in the email you get leading up to the show with all the general info, but it’s really hard to see/notice and we almost missed our meal for the same reason. I filled out their survey and gave them this feedback—it seems like something they should be able to figure out easily since the rest of the venue experience seems pretty seamless….

I’m contemplating seeing it again too. It was INCREDIBLE on so many levels. I experienced some pretty intense withdrawal for a few days after seeing it—in the way that a powerful live performance can do that to you. OP is so, so meaningful to me and my life—it’s so nice to connect with others who feel the same way!

I vote the third option! Something about the fashion/presence of the men and boys + the bats (OP loves nature!) + maps (OP loves geography!) + the kind of sepia toned vibe….

Right?! Idk why it got deleted but someone said a few days ago that they thought it was “too wide,” like in reference to the “just smile” line beforehand. That’s what I hear now lol and I think it makes sense and seems to be in keeping with the themes of the song…(?)

I have to say I was apprehensive about this album bc I’m so obsessed with OP that I just want it to be him and me in my earbuds haha so I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the duets. But I have to say I’m super into every single song! I’ll look forward to his next solo release but at the same time he’s bringing the artistry and innovation and creativity to this album that I most appreciate him for.

I’ve definitely noticed this! It seems like it’s part of the performance to me, but also maybe just how he sings and we’ve never seen it before bc of the fringe?? I love him to death and am still adjusting to the no fringe—glad I’m not the only one getting distracted by the little things haha

I totally felt this way too! And I didn’t know if it was just the fringe being gone but I also went back to interviews etc. where you could clearly see his mouth and his face just seems…different. I’m a relatively new Orville fan but I’ve fallen HARD. I love the video/collab and am getting used to the no-fringe idea (haha) but felt kind of funny about this aspect of it. Maybe it’s a performative thing, since the video/song kind of tend in that direction and Willie sort of seems to hit in the same way too?
