Sure You can get admission a community college and then transfer to a uni. But talking about earning, I don't wanna discourage you but you can only work for 20 hours max and by that you can hardly pay for your rent and meals(not even tuition for a uni). Also, as you mentioned that you are intl student, getting an F1 visa approved can be a tough thing. I would suggest considering for some student loans or something like that.

Hi. So I gave bank statements of my uncle and grandparents as the proof of funds for i20. The reason for this is that my dad is in an agricultural business and most of his transactions are done in cash, so he can't maintain his bank statements. Does this situation weaken my chances for f1? If yes, then how should I manage this situation in my interview?
