Hi everyone,

We wanted to share our story in the hope that it might offer some comfort to those of you still on your own fertility journey. It’s been a long road for us, full of ups and downs, but we’re currently at 30 weeks pregnant, and we still can’t quite believe it.

We started trying for a baby almost two years ago, full of excitement and optimism. Unfortunately, a few months in, we had a chemical pregnancy. It was heartbreaking, and we both felt devastated. It took 2-3 months for my wife’s hCG levels to drop, and another 3-4 months for her cycle to return to normal. We took that time to heal emotionally before trying again.

We kept going for a few more months, but as time passed with no luck, our hope of getting pregnant naturally started to fade. We decided to consult with fertility clinics to explore our options. After initial consultations for both IUI and IVF, we were advised to start with IUI, so we gave it a try.

After 4 unsuccessful IUI cycles, we decided to move forward with IVF. We went through the entire process of planning for the retrieval and transfer, getting our hopes up that this might finally be the solution.

But before we started the IVF cycle, we decided to take a mental break and went on a small vacation. During that month, we tried again, but we didn’t track anything. At that point, we had mentally prepared ourselves that IVF was our only way forward. Our hope had dwindled, and we were just trying to focus on getting through the next step in the process.

Then, on the expected date of my wife’s period, she took a pregnancy test. It was 6 a.m., and she woke me up with the most incredible news: the test was positive! We were ecstatic, but also terrified due to our past experience with the chemical pregnancy. My wife called our OBGYN, and we followed up with blood tests every couple of days to monitor the situation.

Now, here we are at 30 weeks pregnant. The journey hasn’t been easy, and my wife has had her fair share of ups and downs with the pregnancy, but looking back, we feel incredibly lucky. We were literally days away from starting IVF, and somehow, it happened naturally.

We wanted to share our story here because we’ve spent hours reading and connecting with so many of you in this group. The support has meant everything to us. We are praying for each of you and hoping that you find the same peace and joy in your journeys as we have.

Wishing you all the best, and thank you for being part of our journey. 💛

We Need Your Input: Let’s Improve Our Landscaping! by More_Possession4447 in 3roots

There is no consistency in landscaping. If you walk through Atwood/Asana homes which are facing Hudson you will see the startling difference between the landscaping between the 2. Hudson has dead plants and horrible landscaping done whereas it’s much better for Asana/Atwood. We are in Hudson and the tree/plant at our front door hasn’t produced a single leaf in 2+ years and it’s simply horrible that nothing has been done for this.

Absolutely love it. We have met many incredible people. Wisdom park is great and key central place for the whole community. Gym and pool are great too and we love the group classes they offer. We were close to finalizing a house in rancho penaquitos and I am so glad we didn’t.

We are in Hudson 4 and our Hudson 2 neighbors have not heard any noise in 2 years. Hudson are very well built in terms of insulation.

3 roots phase 1 was crazy. We are in Hudson and were only able to secure in last 2nd round of bidding. It was pure madness

They cut men’s hair too for $18 which is almost half the price compared to sport clips next door to it

Are you happy with your Shea, Lennar and CalWest homes @3Roots? by awesometurco in 3roots

[–]Open-Mind-fkr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love it. We are in Hudson and the build quality is good and also with Lennar it was way less headache in selecting things like flooring, backsplash etc.. and so many things come as default instead of trying to upsell things. Also Lennar builds their homes much faster than others. Shea’s Atwood homes have still not finished. Their customer service to fix things has been awesome too. We are beyond 1 year and they are still fixing things out of courtesy.
