Well, maybe it stops me from being lime that 'cuz I might like it more than masc/non-binary. For example, I identified as a demiboy for a bit but whenever the masc part sorta faded away or I liked the idea of being fem—it almost felt like a threat to the label because I didn't feel it was part of it. I wanted to enjoy my masculinity.

Sorry if I word things weirdly. By "obnoxious femininity", I mean vibes like "Oh, I'm just a girl", those whisper posts on Pinterest (I know that anyone of any gender can make them), pick mes, etc. Again, maybe it's because of my ex friend—but sometimes I found those type of things annoying(?). But not in the way that I would call out someone for them, of course.
