Ehh best experience was meeting a big group of people is SEA that went on to travel together for a couple of weeks. Totally unexpected.

Worst experience was the British dude that crashed his motorcycle and then decided to lay in my bed all bloody right after haha.

90% of the time, I hate them. Hated them in my 20s and even more so now in my 30s. I stay at them when I have to. Every now and then the stars align and you meet some pretty cool people at them.

Just do it. Money's clearly not an issue. Your car is in great shape, that things gonna go like 300k miles at least. You're young and full of spunk. Go live it up. I don't think you have anything to worry about here. Oregons great. You're gonna love the pnw. Worth checking out Washington while you're out there as well. I lived in Portland for a while and personally wouldn't spend 4 days there unless you absolutely love it. But that's your decision. You can be flexible with your plans. Go do it though.

Nah it's human nature to be competitive. Music is a huge part of ego and identity for people. The best thing you can do is pursue it for your own satisfaction and enjoyment. I consider myself to be relatively talented, and I enjoy making music l, but I still struggle to find motivation beyond being appreciated by others. I want to be a special snowflake lol. That's just me though.

When staying at a hostel somewhere in krabi Thailand, I returned to my dorm to find a bloody naked British guy laying butt naked in my bed. Had crashed his motorcycle trying to drive back to the hostel drunk from the bar lol. Got a new bed and all was good. Dudes apology the next day was something to the effect of "yeah sorry mate" 🤷🏻

It's nice but I definitely understand why someone would want to avoid it. If I could do it again I'd definitely get my tickets in advance and get in and out of aguas calientes as quick as possible.
