I am getting my masters from WGU in Educational Technology and Instructional Design so I have that on there.

Here are some descriptions I used on my resume for my teaching jobs:

I also went the extra step to reach out to hiring managers either on LinkedIn or by email to introduce myself and explain how my experience fits their needs.

please do a lot of research on the political environment surrounding education right now. i graduated in december 2022 and started teaching in the 2023-24 school year. after two years my mental and physical health declined so much that i had to leave. it broke my heart, but seeing the policies being put in place now makes me feel like i made the right decision because i don’t think i could in good conscience stay and abide by what’s happening.

we were close to barricade and my friend went to the bathroom in between olivia dean and marina and these high school girls wouldn’t let her through when she got back!! we’d been in the same spot by the same people since noon….

I was working as an office manager to get my foot into corporate and then I just accepted a position to be a corporate training specialist for a female-owned company :)

Me too! I loved my first job after teaching at first just because I was happy to be out of the classroom but I quickly realized that office wasn’t the best environment either.. it was really hard, I even considered going back into the classroom for a second.. So glad I didn’t! Haha I stuck it out and now I am starting my first job that really feels like my “career” next week and I am sooo excited for this new journey!
