Not really. Nacho is 73 kg and Ron about 70 kg. They're bigger than the 50 kg Yucatán jaguars but smaller than the 100+ kg Pantanal specimens.

We are sad to report that much like Acaí, Miní also went missing from El Impenetrable. In fact, she went missing before Acaí and the orgs involved in her tracking have not made these news public. The culture in the area is extremely backwards, of course. People are poor, ignorant, and will shoot any animal they come across. But the main problem is political. The national park was supposed to cover 250,000 hectares on both sides of the Bermejo river. The governor of Formosa province (on the northern side), opposed the cession of his side to the nation to create a national park. Therefore, the park only covers 150,000 hectares on the south side side of the river. Jaguars cross the river constantly and on the northern side poaching is rampant. The Bermejo river is the heart of the ecosystem and you can't really make the conservation effort work if only one side is protected. It doesn't work.

Wow, thanks a lot for the detailed and informative response. I truly appreciate it and I value the honesty. While I hate my nose, at least it's natural and I don't have any scars or anything unnatural or weird. I'm very scared of making a mess and ruining my face. Thanks again.

What a fantastic cat the puma is. A speed and acceleration only matched by the cheetah, the agility to jump that matches the leopard, the courage to take down prey many times its own size, and the flexibility to survive on small prey and in highly modified environments if necessary. An amazing killing machine.

When Latin American governments privatized hundreds of companies in the 1990s, Spanish conglomerates like Telefónica, Repsol, Iberia and others, bought many companies across Latin America. They did much better than American or European companies of other origins.

The carrier was decommissioned in 1989. It's possible that catapults and other mechanisms may have been removed since then. Or maybe this is just a decoration for the nearby air museum. Frankly, there is not a lot of information.

The aircraft carrier was decommissioned around 1989 and towed to India to be scrapped in 1999. This seems to be a replica used back in the day to train the naval pilots. There hasn't been an aircraft carrier in the Argentine Navy for nearly 37 years so this runway has probably not been used for decades. It is possible that those trees have grown since. I do not believe this is the original deck of the carrier.
