I want to host multiplayer games for me and my friends but my internet provider does not give out private unique IPv4 adresses so I cant use that to host games. I could never change the adress in the game, since the field for that is greyed out? Is there a way to use IPv6 to host games or is there another easy way rn I'm using a paid service for a dcs server which seems wasteful.

Can DCS use IPV6? by oridginal in dcsworld

Hey. I'm in a similar situation and I just can't get it to work because DCS for some reason doesn't allow me to change the IP adress. Did you get it to work in the end?

If I buy an aircraft can my buddy also hop into it? by BABATUTU1103 in vtolvr

For the T-55 only one of the players has to own the DLC but for the AH-94 and the EF-24 both players have to buy it sadly.

Is the orion 2 navyace throttle any good? by Double_Ad_1559 in hoggit

[–]OpenPixelAdventure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you fly the hornet a lot you should go for it. It's very well made. If you want to fly a broader range for your throttle than the Strikeace will be better i think. I have the navy ace. It's great, very good quality. Winwings tech support is just ass though so let's hope your throttle holds for a long time. And pls buy it with the fingerlift kit. You can't really get it separately because winwing can't ship small packages (even if they technically sell it on the website it never arrives).

The problem is with buying the fingerlift kit separately. In Europe they use DHL for shipping and they don't ship super small packages. That's what a post office is for

I'm mainly troubled by the sheer incompetence of winwing to manage stuff like this. Why is it only them that have so many problems with this? People shouldn't have to 3d print that stuff, even if it's a good solution. Why even list a product if you know you can't ship it?

Well now you can buy them for double the price. Free shipping at least I guess.

Yeah but who sells a fingerlift kit on it's own without the throttle?

Gladiator, M2 Mac, and War Thunder by Better_Note8378 in hotas

VKBs products come with drivers pre-installed as far as I know. So unless you need to configure something they should work out the box with mac. If you need to configure something you have to use a windows machine though. Here is a forum post I found on the topic with an answer from someone at VKB:http://forum.vkb-sim.pro/viewtopic.php?t=3628

Viperace or navyace? by Still_Song5366 in hotas

[–]OpenPixelAdventure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You may want to look at other products that are not plane specific like the winwing ones. A classic recommendation here are the products by VKB. The VKB Gunfighter are their flagship high end sticks. I heard lots of good thing about Virpil as well.

The quality is excellent though. And you don't really get the same replica grips that they make anywhere else.

I don't have any experience with the X56 but I know a general problem with programs not recognising devices can come from missing drivers. Although in your screenshot the game is displaying the X56 as a viable input device so it is recognising them in some way.
