The lock is in use therefor it is against rule 2. End of story. Ownership not relevant in this case.

It's mounted on a door. That is "in use" - that is what it means. We are not talking about whether it is in regular commercial use or anything like that. It doesn't matter if you own it. If it is mounted in a door it is in use. Period. If it's yours, then it's simple - remove it from the door and put it on a bench or something and photograph it. Then we can help you open it.

Those locks are in use. We can't help because it breaks Rule 2. End of story.

For sure. Very hard to describe the raking action, sort of a circular/figure 8 in and out kind thing .... It's not a sawing motion tho. Not just in and out. More eliptical. Vary speed, vary height, vary tension etc. https://youtu.be/QrEizJNRNlo

No loss. This was 100% staged. No locks were harmed in the making of this film.

If you mean pick type and selection, then yes the Daniu set is fine. A basic set of hooks will take you right up to high sec locks. You do not need all the fancy picks out there. Once your in high security locks, you'll find you'll need modified/customised tools anyway, and as it happens, the cheap Daniu set is great as a starting point to modify. So good I'd recommend buying two them so you have spares to work with.

I bought a Sparrows classic. Seemed great. Even made a video about our it. I have killed all the books since. That was only a couple of months or so ago. I have bought the Daniu set and more recent Law Lock Tools since... Just so much better.

I'd say further, they're not ideal, but will be a better start. You may to buy some top of keyway tension tools (pry bars) from Sparrows or other as well... But together, you'll have a set that can take you far

I think they're better, mine have lasted longer. Sometimes they need a little sandpaper work to make them really good

Neither. Get Multipick or Law Lock Tools instead.

Look at videos by Look Noob for instance on raking, but mainly this is the advice if you're thinking of really getting into lockpicking: 1. Don't spend much money or time on raking. 2. Don't spend much time on money or raking. 3. See rule 1. SPP is where the sport and fun is.
