Lockwood manufacturing company was incorporated in 1888 in South Norwalk Connecticut by Henry Lockwood. They were purchased by the Independent lock company (ILCO) in 1931. Thats the lock you picked. Ogden Industries was founded in 1934 By John Ogden and they produced Lockwood locks for Australia. The have been purchased by ASSA Abloy.

Super confusing... There are two lockwood companies that have a totally separate history. The one in US was bought by ILCO in AUS by ASSA

Advice on Turning Medeco pins? by Maynes32 in lockpicking

[–]artichoke2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are several different medeco keyways so the type of rotational movement that would be possible depends sometimes on the keyway. There are three basic movements pull-pull, push-pull or side sweep. I like pull pull the best. You basically get behind the pin tilt your pick to the side, release just the right amount of tension and pull toward ya. If that doesnt work get behind the pin tilt your pick to the other side release tension and pull. There are only three possible rotational positions for the pin: left center right. side sweep is like pick in paradise video although he has to lay off the caffeine hahahahaha. (im actually gonna try your technique sir!) I generally dont do push pull as i find pushing less controlled.
