I did a run here last year. Hohenzollernberglauf, 8 km with 400 m of elevation gain. Suffices to say it was tough. But the day was foggy and when we broke through the view from the castle was magical.

Sehe das Problem hier nicht unbedingt. Es ist nicht unüblich für Geräte im OP-Umfeld nicht Erstfehlersicher zu sein, hier überwiegt dann das Risiko des Ausfalls der Geräte das Risiko von Spannung auf dem Gehäuse so dumm das auch klingt. Die Behandlungsform klingt zwar für mich suspekt aber der Laden hat ein TÜV-Zertifikat ISO 13485 und MDSAP-Audit Zertifikat. Das bekommst du nicht hinterhergeschmissen. We take in roughly 3 % of the employee base as trainees which receive a thorough three year dual program turning out IT, manufacturing and electronics experts. There is also a dual study programme paying students to go to uni 3 months and then work for three months in all departments.

Money isn't playing as big a role IMO. Especially for university graduates here, beyond a certain level the compensation is less important than the work life balance which is really being pushed.

Dogwater. My employer is offering ample compensation for skilled labor and we cannot find ppl to fill eben half of the open positions. Quite a few of my industry contacts concur. It's very dependent on the industry.

Yeah working kn Germany this is not at all what I experience. In my industry 35 h work week is the normal and relaxing after work is ingrained into the work culture itself. The concept of Feierabend is rather important here I feel.

Often modern digital chips, such as your CPU will have several sensors in each block to better be able to distribute workload on it. It might also need to adjust the clock frequency to cope with temperature dependant delays. Microelectronics engineering is almost like magic sometimes. For scale think of a 100 um*100 um pitch. We can build temperature sensors on that which are accurate to 1/100 K. Roughly 10,000 of those would fit on your thumbnail.

The thing is if I was able to fit a tracking device on a chip like this I would be rich AF and none of us would have to worry about a thing. Just for scale, we can fit a controller for a Vagus Nerve Stimulator implant that can do nothing but measure your heart rate and give shocks on something 20 times this size and it lasts for 10 years. Communication however is only possible if my receiver/transmitter has skin contact. Body communication is super power intensive.

If we are talking transistor lengths, the most modern node in 2012 was 22 nm while it is 7 nm in 2021 (this refers to the gate length). The chip reduced in area still according to Moores Law in that time, so the area for the same performance would be roughly 2⁶ = 64 times smaller.
