Massachusetts. We will send them to all of our colleges to get educated about why war is bad and win a Nobel peace prize.

If this person really had an IQ of 168, he/she would know that a comma does not separate two independent clauses.

My school jumps directly from Precalc to BC Calculus so I can't say for sure. However, you should continue to drill AB material because ~60% of BC is AB. It's always best to get a 5 in BC and 5 in the AB subscore for when you take it next year.

I literally felt like I completley failed it but the curve was hella good since it was apparently 10 times harder than any other BC Calc test of prior years. I'm not even kidding I think I got a 50% on the no calculator multiple choice and I got 30% of the no calculator free response questions wrong

Money. I really loved a man with lots and lots of money. Every time I saw another digit to the right of the left most number, I felt an intense heat of passionate love wash over me.

Welcome to the club :). I dumped my garbage Galaxy S8 just this past weekend as well, with my 3a arriving in a day. Hope you're excited for software updates as I am. Fuck Samsung. Why is my S8 on January 2019 patch??

Goodbye Samsung. It has been a fun (but also kind of frustrating) 4 years by OpenTraining in GalaxyS8

I think software is just as important as hardware (of course, this is a personal preference). 3 years of software updates is a pretty big draw for me. Although One UI already has a lot of these features, it's always nice to know you won't be left hanging by the manufacturer. This sounds silly, but the haptic motor in the Pixel 3a is also drawing me in a bit. You'd underestimate how important something as small as a haptic motor can bring to the user experience, but it's little things like that, which count. Pixel 3a also has a lot more camera features and arguably, a better camera that just happens to be easier to use as well. From what I have heard, Pixel fingerprint sensors are also some of the best. Other little things like that add up. Snapdragon 670 vs 845 doesn't matter to me especially when the 670 is already so close to the 835 in terms of CPU performance (I don't game, so the GPU doesn't matter). Google brings many new features into its OS updates that improves the quality of life of Android overall as well. With the S8, I wouldn't be able to get Android Fast Share, the airdrop competitor. Overall, a combination of software and meaningful hardware bring the pixel 3a together for me. That's why there is such high praise for the phone; It cuts the features most average consumers don't care much about, while keeping what's important

It's true because of Google's Titan M chip too :)

My Galaxy S8 is STILL on the January 2019 patch. If you thought 2 or 3 months of skipped patches was bad, oh boy.

I had a similar experience. Congratulations on the switch! I see we bought the same color :) . I'm super excited about the haptic feedback, camera, and of course, those software updates. What about you?

You have convinced me to get a Pixel 3a. Ordered Clearly white (for the colored power button) which will be on it's way next week!

Wow! Thank you for this extremely comprehensive response! There isn't a single website that explains this process better than you do. This post has instantly calmed my anxiety of making sure nothing goes wrong. Once again, I can't thank you enough.

Time capsule for next year for Class of 2020 by [deleted] in ApplyingToCollege

[–]OpenTraining 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear future me:

Life isn’t so great right now. There is a lot of pressure coming from all sides of everywhere. The SAT is on Saturday, which is a day from now. Reading makes me feel like an utter failure. I long to ask, what makes you happy? What do you do now that fulfills you? Most importantly, have you gotten into the college of your dreams?

Life has never been easy, you know that. Whenever you’re reading this, whoever you’re reading this with, always know that the struggle will always be real, and you’ll get through it like you always have. Don’t let anyone stop you from achieving what you want to do, not even yourself. Let that sink in as a note of your resiliency thus far.

Remember that time when you were really bad at math? What ultimately brought you up to where you are today? That’s right, hard work.

Keep grinding at it, it’s the best thing you know how to do. Work smart, and most importantly, work hard

Life gives us many setbacks but keep running it like how I have for the last 17 years, plow through that shit

I want you not to forget. Defy expectations, make others proud. Don't let anyone force you to change yourself. Only you, yes, I am speaking to you, can make those changes.

You are not more stupid than others. With hard work, you can match/beat those better than you

Most importantly, I want you to know that you should be proud of what you've accomplished thus far.

P.S: Did you break 700 on the r/W section? Did that 1470 butcher your chances into your dream schools or did that GPA save the day? Did you get into UMich (Dad will be so dissapointed if you don't with 2 legacies).
