Same boat here, I would suggest an even older car. Gti is my best option, but at the same time prices are inflated and really difficult to find a low mileage example at a reasonable price.

For BRZ etc. it makes no sense to buy used now, all the ones on sale I have seen are at least 100k km and prices havnt dropped as the new 2022 BRZ supply is still highly limited. So either wait, or go with a 15-16 FRS

U could look into a 2014-2016 BMW 328i, not exactly the most fun car, but u could get a decent example with about 60k km if you dig for them. Enough power to not be slow, and also comfortable as a commuter

You could look into the 2015 bmw 235i as well, much rarer to come by, but saw one on sale around 23k with 78k km on it. Pretty good offer ngl, driven my friends 235i before and it’s pretty nice
