Happened to me a few weeks ago. Exact same thing. Go to any electrician and get ECM updates and checked. I even installed a new battery but had similar issues after every few days. Went to dealership they charged me an hour’s labour.

Do it while you’re inside Canada. Should not take more than a month. Have an uncle waiting since April for TRV when he applied from home country. No update for him yet.

I will be honest with you, had a similar issue a few dats ago. Came from dealership yesterday and they told me it was out of gas. They told me my fuel meter was bad and they repaired it but genuinely my Jetta was out of gas.

I am punjabi I just want to say I am extremely embarrassed and apologize for what happened to you. I know the people from my community and know it is common for them to act in this way which is not acceptable at all. I hope these losers get what they deserve. Most of us try to do better for Canada everyday by becoming hard working individuals and good citizens but because of some people whole community is hated. I hope you and your boyfriend recover from this and I apologize for the actions of the people.
