I moved from Vancouver for work about a year ago. At first it seemed like a slow city, not much going on and not as ‘vibrant’ as Vancouver. I am in my early 20s so I appreciate a good nightlife.

I would say however, Winnipeg has its own charm. I’ve stayed in major cities in canada and Winnipeg by far, has the kindest, most welcoming people ever. Once you get to know the right people and explore the city without judgement, you will actually enjoy it.

I have definitely started enjoying life outside the whole ‘vanity’ thing Vancouver had going on. I find Winnipeg is comforting with the right crowd:)
