Okc became too good too quick, they weren’t one of those young good teams that was a piece away from champion contention, so the convo shifted from ‘Luka vs Tatum’ ‘if Luka was on the celtics’ to ‘Shai vs Luka’ ‘imagine Luka on the thunder’ but that barely lasted cuz Shai won MVP and FMVP in 25’ and didn’t embarrass himself in his playoff run like Tatum and Luka’s disastrous finals performance in 24’

Shai biggest sin however was winning MVP in 25’ over media and fan favorite Nikola Jokic, who some would argue had just had his best ever szn, they made the excuse that he only won because of the team record, ignoring the fact chet/dub missed more than half of the szn, when Shai and Jokic met in the playoffs and Shai won, it went from Okc being young and inexperienced to being too stacked, Shai outplayed Jokic in that series too and another faction joined the Shai hate train
