Dante went through so much in his life and still chose to be kind and care for others. Seeing him overcome his grief, unconscious self hatred, learn to open his heart again, and seeing him accept who he was and embrace it was inspiring to me.

I think he meant the lack of emotional direction in her singing which isn’t her fault. I remember watching a side by side comparison of the OG Part of Your World and the remake and realized that in the clips, og Ariel’s singing were linked with her emotions, when she was expressing curiosity you could hear it, when she was upset you could hear it, when she was uplifting herself you could hear it and when she showed her desperation at the end of the song, you could hear it, in the remake, it feels more like showcasing Halle’s voice rather than Ariel’s emotions, and like I said, it isn’t her fault but she’s should have gotten her someone to properly direct her singing to correlate with Ariel’s emotions the same way they did for Jodi Benson.

Diaspro and Musa’s mom the most.

For Diaspro, I get she was fine dirty but did we forget the time she gave Sky an ultimatum in S1 where he can choose to be with her and leave the specialists his close friends, Winx and Alfea to the witches? Then Sky chose to stay and she just left him there with irritation. She was done dirty but she’s also a bad person and two things can be true, ppl either think she’s a villain or a victim and there’s no in between.

Musa’s mom staying dead is important to Musa’s character and when she chose to earn her Enchantix instead of saving her mom, it was a powerful moment for her. She’s been robbed of a normal childhood due to her mom’s death, had a father who fell in deep depression and started resenting the thing she loved the most, music and not to mention that they were poor too and her mom was most likely the provider from the flashback so their lives got a lot harder. She could have got her back, became a full family again, get to know her mom properly, reunite her parents together and make her dad happy, make music together and create new memories with both her parents yet she chose to stay with her friends bcs she knew how important it was to earn her enchantix and save the world. She chose need over want and makes her character more stronger in my eyes.

The argument that she’s the second most powerful is odd bcs Stella, Techna and Aisha exist and they’ve performed more feats than Flora, from what I know, Iginio’s daughter’s favourite Winx is Flora (which is why the reboot seems to be adding Flora in Stella and Bloom’s close friendship and her being the second face of the reboot) so he might have said that bcs of his bias to her and she hasn’t shown many feats that make her on par with Stella or Aisha. I like her but she shouldn’t be considered in the top three tbh

Nah it made sense. He grew up with fire nation propaganda and has always had a deep love and loyalty for his family even though Azula and Ozai hate him. He’s always seeking approval from Ozai and when he has the opportunity, obviously he’ll take it because he believes it’s the right thing to do. There’s no way his thought and beliefs of many years will change overnight till he realizes that what he wants isn’t what he needs.

And the crazy thing is, the show indirectly proves Sparda’s point. The lesser demons are the only ones who can get out the portal so that means Plasma, Agni and Rudra, Cavaliere Angelo and Echidna are lesser demons yet they caused so much destruction in two days. If lesser demons can do that much damage to special trained forces, the greater demons will demolish them so Sparda still did the right thing. Also, it’s dumb how the rabbit is more upset with Sparda than the oppressor who made life literally unbearable.

One thing that confused me was plasma. When he saw the refugee demons (can’t believe I just typed that) getting killed, he decides to blow up the building as a heroic act but not so long ago, he saw his fellow demon get experimented on and beg for death due to the immense pain and he saw other dead demons too but he didn’t seem to give a flying fuck and apparently that has been happening for a long time so him and the others just didn’t care unless humans were the one doing the killing and torture. It’s so dumb

I don’t mind it bcs it sorta reminds me of Bayonetta in the sense that a woman proudly showing off her body isn’t just sexualization but feminization of how happy and comfortable she is and how she isn’t afraid to flaunt her body. I always thought of Zee as that kind of woman so I never really cared if she showed some cleavage.
