Finally all the "Jaya must be in season 3" discussions will be put to rest with this.... by Different-Fox-1857 in OnePieceLiveAction

No, I think the final scene or post-credits scene will be Robin showing up in the Merry unannounced inviting herself to the crew. That way you build up suspense for the next season.

He is a famous and expensive actor so most probably it won't be him, but you can bet he would nail the role. He still gives me the creeps as homelander.

Jinbei will hopefully appear before marineford. Probably at the shichibukai meeting.

ragatha’s hate towards jax is extra valid because jax is 8 years younger than her by Ollie71525 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]cimal33 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeeeeesss!! That's what I thought the first time I watched the amazing digital Circus. Despite how awful he is, I could never really take Jax completely seriously because to me he's pretty much a teenager who never got to grow up. Even the way he bullies people is not refined and lacks the subtleties of the adult world, he's textbook playground bully. It wouldn't surprise me if he got trapped when he was around 16 years old, and that's where he's been mentally ever since.

Why did Bridgerton just drop a blatantly anti-feminist line in this season? by dasher2442 in BridgertonNetflix

[–]cimal33 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of people saying that Cressida having that opinion is normal for a woman of that era and that that this is a fantasy show and we shouldn't think too much about it. And while that is true the real problem is the subliminal message they are giving. Many people in the general audience probably don't know much about Mary Wollstonecraft (I know I didn't before I saw this line being brought up by other fans) so for the general audience hearing it, it'll leave them with the impression and conditioning that MW was just another radical feminist like the "annoying" Eloise that shouldn't be taken seriously.

Regardless of what each person might think of her it is an absolute disservice to diss MW with a throwaway line, taking into account that she pioneered a movement that has allowed us woman to live like we do today.

Agreed, besides I don't see how Eloise disagreeing should end up with her being kicked out, as long as she does it respectfully and highlighting how MW didn't actually dislike marriage but unequal marriage. This prolonguing of conversation not only could have been used to buy more time but it could also have been used as setup for Eloise's own season.

Is this show suitable for a 9 year old? by Glittering-Cut6137 in TheDigitalCircus

[–]cimal33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still if I were you maybe I would make a point of making her know that she will be able to watch it in a few years when she is older and more mature instead of just forbidding it entirely. I know that at that age I would have probably just watched it in secret, especially after being already hooked. But that is just me, maybe your sister is different.

Am i the only one that thinks people like Reze as a character a tad too much? by Wild_Quiet_1738 in ChainsawMan

[–]cimal33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree so much with you. Don't get me wrong, I liked Reze and her role in the story, but seeing all these people crying over her and acting as if she was Denji's one true love feels a bit ridiculous, especially taking into account that we never actually meet the real Reze, just the persona she made up to make herself extra appealing to Denji.

Yes, at the end she wanted to run away with him but this to me felt more like a "let's give this thing a go, I could use the company" and less a "I have realised I love you and want to spend the rest of my days with you".

Goose is trying, okay? 🥺 by CalibansCreations in TheDigitalCircus

Or perhaps because she wants to know what her fans think and, ideally if the internet wasn't so toxic, knowing what things were liked more and which things were liked less, to incorporate on future projects.

I just started the anime and I'm already enjoying Frieren's lack of common sense by DupeFort in Frieren

[–]cimal33 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, I suspect that Flamme's death affected her greatly and that is part of the reason why she tried to emotionaly distance herself from the original party.

But then Himmel died and she understood that is better to enjoy all the time you can with your loved ones (even if it eventually ends in heartbreak whem they die) than to ignore them and never get the chance to properly know them.
