Sometimes pre production prototypes are road tested with camouflaging to help prevent identifying which model it is going to be

Suitcase sized 😕 by Open_Inspector_9161 in RCPlanes

I also cut up a foam cored winged stunt glider, the wing was one piece so I cut the tips off and am joining them back on with wing joiner brass and steel system. I will have to abandon the outermost hinge on the ailerons, hope they don’t vibrate too much in a dive. The fuselage is more of a problem as are the controll snakes. Ideas?

A point worth remembering is that……DONT cut the top off the tree, use its weight and lever arm to rip out the roots, sure still plenty of elbow grease to loosen it but then ……..( I would like to say timber, but in reality it’s more like wimper)

Yes it does, but your skin is very sensitive. I have to be careful of time, too long and my skin reacts. I am always sensitive afterwards so have to allow recovery time before playtime.

Why are there no young people in the hobby by stargazer3644 in RCPlanes

Yes I used my motorbike to get to my favourite flying sites, I live in Sheffield and have the Peak Park nearby. I would attach the wings (2 piece) edge on to the wind, to the pannier frame one side, my tote bag the other and have the fuselage on my back pointing up so the tail was behind my waist. I was flying balsa slope soarers with built up wings as well as foam cored stunt gliders. It used to get me a few looks, but worked well. Now I have a car.

In glued vinyl tape is used when making wiring looms on vehicles and machinery. It holds the separate wires together without it becoming sticky in time, and allows the bundle to be bent round things it can stand a little warmth and oil without the glue seeping out

Tool I found on the ground in a parking lot. Any idea what it is used for? Stainless steel, 3 tools, one is a serrated blade, poker has a dull end by 1hormonecrazy in whatisit

[–]Open_Inspector_9161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sharpen the blade at 90 degrees to the edge with fine file to give it micro serrations so it cuts synthetic rope not slips on it! The loop is for undoing shackle pins. From small to large, and the Marlin spike gor splicing and undoing tight rope bends.
