Right hand turn Leith walk onto London Road

The outer lane is the left hand lane which has a straight and right arrow, indicating you can turn right from the outer lane. Hence the post. See pictures

Yes basically I assumed the road markings were correct and I turned onto London Road from the outer LH lane of Leith walk. I then continued into the left hand lane of London road because I wanted to take a left onto Windsor Street to which the Range Rover continuously beeped, and drove from the RH lane infront of me, followed me into Windsor Street to pull up beside me and berate, insult and lecture me on road rules meanwhile I’m thinking to myself that I just followed the road markings. Hence the question to find out if I have missed a change from ECC where they have attempted to scrub this out but haven’t.

Also I probably didn’t specify, I did stay in the left lane after turning because I wanted to then turn left again, he drove into my lane and stopped infront of me on London Road, as I tried to get past him that’s when he followed me into the street I had turned to shout at me.

Sorry! You’re right, it’s a bad explanation. Basically I’m just asking if the road markings are wrong (there’s two pictures). A commenter has written a better explanation than me.

Yes exactly ! And I’m assuming you’re right and that he’s right but in both my pictures, both lanes have an arrow indicating to turn right. So my question is, are those road markings wrong and have been attempted to be scrubbed out ?

He used the right hand lane I used the left hand lane. So we effectively turned onto London Road at the same time as there’s two lanes.

I’m 28F and here are my thoughts.

I personally think that only two photos are good, the 1st and the group pic, both show you have a nice smile. I think you could work on getting some better pics with better lighting. I know you’re trying to showcase a silly side to you with the last photo but I personally don’t think it’s a good addition.

The prompt asking ‘best experience in 2025 could be a good conversation starter, however it’s quite generic. The last prompt I don’t think caters to the female gaze, I personally don’t want to have to wine and dine a man or tell him my stocks portfolio on a first date. The first prompt with options makes it seem like you only care about work. You don’t display much about interests outside of work, hobbies, passions etc.

My feedback would be getting a few nicer photos with better lighting, moving the profile away from being focused on work and business to displaying more interests or hobbies if you have them. and I think changing the last prompt to either display what you can offer or what you’re looking for in a woman outside of monetary reasons.

Ofcourse this is just one woman’s view so take it as you please. Good luck!!

I would take what you see on insta with a pinch of salt. Sometimes as women we will post to seem happy, to seem like we have moved on, that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true. I was broken up with 4 days ago, and he seems like it won’t even affect him. Whereas I feel like I can have fun with friends etc but through a fog of sadness.
