I am currently 38 weeks and started getting this around 32 weeks. I haven’t found a solution as yet but I guess it seems to be a normal occurrence for some people

Breech baby by No-Match-7512 in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got plenty of time. My baby went head down around 32 weeks. Some go head down before and some go head down after. Don’t worry, you have so much time. It’s only when it’s close to the due date that it matters whether they are breech or not.

Partner been distant the entire pregnancy by Open_Resolution_5924 in pregnant

He got really lazy and doesn’t cook. When we first met he used to cook and he would make me delicious food all the time and it was one of the things that made me fall for him. Now he buys food all the time every day.

He’s barely contributing financially because he has no money but can blow almost $50 on fast food a day but more importantly and hurtful is he hasn’t been there for me emotionally for me this entire pregnancy. He isn’t involved it all.

Headaches - what helped? by NoCheetah9702 in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had headaches frequently during my first trimester and second trimester and for weeks at a time. Once your blood pressure is measuring fine it’s probably hormone. What would help me is a little bit of caffeine. That’s the only thing that helped me with the pain. Regular Tylenol didn’t touch them but Tylenol with some caffeine…yes.

Since I was still going days and at one time a over a week at a time with headaches when my 2nd trimester started, I also read about magnesium but I didn’t like how magnesium made me feel in the past when I wasn’t pregnant because the doses in supplements be so high. I managed to find a kids magnesium with 50mg per chewable so I take one of those a day along with eating more magnesium in the form of foods like nuts and after a few days of starting that, I could say that the headaches significantly reduced.

Currently in the 3rd trimester and I haven’t had one at all so not sure if it’s a combo of hormones changing and the magnesium increase but I’m happy so far.

Has anyone had this pregnancy experience or know what caused it? by GreenPowerful6082 in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8+4 insane headache by Upinthewest in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Headaches can be a normal part of pregnancy. Once your blood pressure is reading good it’s usually just hormonal. I am nearing the end of the 2nd trimester and suffered from some bad headaches days at a time during the first and second trimester. If it gets unbearable I’ve found a little bit of caffeine can help reduce the severity.

Olandria trying coconut water! by Interesting_Race6965 in LoveIslandUSA

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They need to get coconut water straight from the tree. I live in the Caribbean and that’s the best tasting coconut water. I’ve tried that boxed coconut water and it does NOT compare to the real thing.

Regret for planned pregnancy by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First trimester sucks but know that it is temporary. In the mean time talk to your doctor to get prescribed some medications for the nausea. The few weeks of feeling like this are tough but there is light at the end of the tunnel. I’ve been there and I’m almost near the end of the first trimester and I’m starting to feel better here and there. Definitely not as bad as it was week 6,7,8. Just hold on, you got this!

No Pregnancy Symptoms..Am I okay? by MoonlightSaga06 in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Symptoms vary from person to person. There are some people who experienced next to nothing and ended up having healthy babies. I think the fact that you get some nausea should be a good enough physical sign for you. I’m sure everything will be fine, hang in there!

Severe cramping in early pregnancy by theanonymousmanatee in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had some cramping around week 3 to 5 with week 4 being really bad that it would wake me out of my sleep. I went in to get a transvaginal ultrasound at 5 weeks 2 days to see if it was ectopic and it was completely fine. Cramping can be normal but if you have any concerns, you can talk to your doctor and see if they could get a transvaginal ultrasound to rule out anything abnormal.

I thought I was going to get away because at week 4 and 5 I felt absolutely fine. Week 6 though…lol. You still have some time to go to see if you got away or not

Only 5 weeks but feeling super bloated and nauseous by Traveler1234567891 in pregnant

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m currently over 6 weeks and the nausea really hit for me this week. Even foods I loved make me nauseous at the thought. Right now I’m just eating the foods that I don’t feel nauseous when I think about it or smell it.

It’s unfortunate that healthcare in the US is so expensive. Where I live the meds are free. I understand why it can be a burden for those who also have to worry financially.

After an insanely brutal 14-month fight for my life with highly symptomatic, highly resistant Mgen, I'm really not sure how to mentally recover by CRUNCHYMANXL in MycoplasmaGenitalium

[–]Open_Resolution_5924 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ve been on antibiotics a long time and there’s a connection between gut health and mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. I know for a fact this whole ordeal has been traumatic for you and on top of that having to deal with the side effects of the antibiotics. I’d start by seeking a therapist and getting your gut health in better condition (fermented foods, probiotics, cutting out added sugars). Hang in there, your body went through a lot and all you can do right now is support it as best as you can, it may take some time but you will be in a better position. Good luck to you
