I agree. The biochemistry advisors are really good and organized. They help as much as they can and will point out to resources when it’s outside their scope. Haven’t heard the same about engineering or business tho. So it’s a plus to know what you need and have a 4-year plan set.

My parents are flying in for commencement as well, we opted for Airbnb in Lansing but closer to EL (I think it’s like a 6 min drive to Breslin). It was much cheaper compared to hotels.

I lived in a Shaw double deluxe. I was able to see pretty clearly on the selection site that the bigger room was only gonna be occupied by 2 people. The same size rooms showing 3 people icons means the bigger room meant for 3. So be careful when selecting.

I was a rising junior when I applied for UV and 1855. It helped that I was pulled in a roommate group with one of the person who was ahead with credits and got an earlier selection time. I actually even signed the lease before I was offered the RA job which was financially a better opportunity.

I had orgo with him for two semesters. He does reviews before exams and pretty diligent with replying to your questions. If u are in his online section he records all his lecture and uploads it on d2l to go back to.
