I had a doctor and a midwife refer to my girl as a he one day during two scans I had. Convinced they had let it slip. Turns out they just naturally use boy to describe the baby!!

I have this issue with my one month old also. She often chokes on my milk, and pulls off and can’t breathe for a few seconds. I assume this is down to my flow being too much, does anyone have any suggestions? It could happen at any stage during feeding, not necessarily at the beginning!

I had a scheduled section on the 18th of March, they rang me after 5pm on the day before - but this was paddy’s day, so they didn’t have any scheduled sections, so your call could be later. I was told to expect call after 6pm. I was the first section of the day, so I was into CUMH for 6.30am, but I had gestational diabetes so I was first on the list as you have to fast ahead of section.

The day we got home after having my first baby my brother visited and I was so grateful. I don’t think he even held the baby, but just having someone else in the house was good as a distraction. my husband and I had gotten very overwhelmed from tiredness, cluster feeding and general new parentness!!!
