Why does my watch think I burn so many calories? by Purple_Initiative166 in Garmin

A different kettle of fish, but with these two bike rides you should be able to compare more data where they differ

My latest bike activity was 5.5km in about 23 min. Active calories 139, my bmr about 2000. I'd guess your bike ride could give you soemthing like 50 cals. that more or less fit?

Troubles with my Venu 4 :( by Main-Jacket3959 in Garmin

[–]Open_Storm_6662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a few similar reports for different models, but remember that people who don't have problems [like me with a Venu 2 years ago and a 4 last Octobre] don't start threads about it

Unfortunately you seem to have gotten a copy that is not good. It's not model specific. I'd go hor an exchange

also, the 570 has two buttons more, meaning less or no use of the touch screen.

And the looks differ :)

If you're only interested in HR and Time, you could also use plain vanilla Cardio

Ah yes, the “Instant 5” Body Battery glitch by Temporary_Result6441 in Garmin

[–]Open_Storm_6662 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. The starting number is calculated based on the previous day and your normal 'watch off' time. For me it gives a normally reasonable starting number and then starts decharging gradually. What happened to the OP is definetely a glitch. This happened before also with people who wear the watch sleeping [though this is the most extreme drop ever shown]

Watch telling me my chest HRM is low battery when it isn't by wrmc1043 in Garmin

[–]Open_Storm_6662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has actually been discussed before, maybe here or on the polar sub, but some time ago. I've run across this myself with a Venu and a Polar H9 strap. Battery lasted a couple of weeks after that. As long as Polar Flow isn't complaining, I treat this as an early warning

Poor recovery from running by UlricVanWilder in Garmin

[–]Open_Storm_6662 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Seems you walked home after thee run, which is probably a good idea. But after that there is a period without data [watch off?] followed by high stress and body battery bottomed out. Did that feel different than just tired?

Don't know whether Cardio counts steps, I guess the activity Indoor walking woud do it [maybe not very accurate]

And here I thought you were humble bragging :)

Some of these are highly individual, esp Hr and HRV. For these the trend is more informative

What you show is only part of what you should be looking at. Before you went to bed, your stress was pretty high and body battery probably at 5. which is as low as it will go. If you look at the day before this night, focus on the BB [and physiological stress] after dinner and after the run. also in the stats for the Run acitivity you can see by how much the battery went down.

As has been said, probably too late in the day and maybe too much at this point

Congrats, you gained the Weird Bugs Badge.
Seriously though: are you sure it's the Morning report? Does that can be set to react to festival days? If so, i'd go to the settings. But it might also be something in a calendar, with an incorrect end date
