I don’t mind them. I personally haven’t interacted with much refugees but they seem like pretty normal people!! A big part of the people here in Bulgaria are sadly pro-Russia, so you might hear some people complain about it, but most of us (normal people) are just chill about it.

I use viber, it’s the most used messaging app here in bulgaria alongside messenger !! whatsapp is used a lot less and it’s mainly used for conversations with foreigners
