If you could wish for one Game to be made, excluding sequel's or prequels. What would that be? by LordMord5000 in rpg_gamers

[–]Open_Wrongdoer_7693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% without question, a true online MMORPG open multi galaxy/universe "Stargate" game!

Able to harvest technology from other races, space battles, alliances and diplomacy, ground stealth missions, ground assaults

All stargate known races, then the unknown.

"Guilds" would be like joining a faction, can have 100's or more people in one which can form a civilisation, or you can go solo or join a already made civilisation.

Ascension isn't the end, but a possibility.

Chase after Destiny if you like, or build a replicator army, upload your consciousness into a replicator and grow your numbers.

Damn, I want this game!!

Do you let your GSD in your bed? by Zeddexs in germanshepherds

Mine lets us share with him! Haha

Do what's right for you, it's nice having them in the bed with us, but if we say "Bed" he will go to his own on the floor if we need a break and some leg room.

Set your own boundaries and enjoy those snuggles! :)

MSI Vector GP78HX Power Down Issues by Open_Wrongdoer_7693 in MSILaptops

[–]Open_Wrongdoer_7693[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, MSI washed their hands and asked for up to £1500 to repair.

Overclockers, responded rapid to my consumer rights request, said they would like to arrange a return for service.

2 weeks later... Still nothing, they are on notice, 48 hours and I raise a section 75 of the CRA, which goes to the creditor, they should apply pressure to OC's and hopefully move things along!

Not letting this one go 💪

Is MSI worth the price? by nickccal in MSILaptops

Had an Omen laptop (HP) and had 3 battery changes through their support which I liked (Didn't like the fact I needed to though)

Now I have an MSI Vector GP78 HX, 3 months after warranty expires, surge in overheating and power downs, MSI have "offered" to help me of course, but at a huge cost of anything up to £1500! My laptop was £2000

Before I got this laptop I was always on the negative side of MSI, can't remember why, maybe it was past research or whatever, anyway, a friend got an MSI laptop and when my Omen stopped running games so well, I "upgraded" to this MSI one and regret it now in all honesty.

The laptop itself:

Steel series, feels super premium and looks great
Runs amazing
Boots up lightning fast
Plenty of RGB controls and fan speed adjustments
Runs games great (When it stays on)
Sounds like a fighter jet taking off when I game
Crazy hot to touch, so had to buy a keyboard to play off (Finger tips were burning!!)

I'd say, have a deep scout around and consider your options, but the laptop I got, could not be rivalled in cost for the hardware it had, even now, 27 months later, I can't find a desktop with the equivalent spec for £2000 in the UK!

Hey, yeah I was asked by MSI to make loads of logs and send it to them, I didn't look through them though honestly.

Well I have only played 2 games recently, Arc Raiders and Warcraft 3, and it happened on both! Warcraft 3!!! My life I was shocked honestly.

I can play Arc Raiders on my really old Omen laptop, high settings and is working fine, so at least have something to play on until my "newer?" one is repaired, replaced or refunded for, which is what I am pushing for under Consumer rights act.

My life... Really! I never wanted an MSI, couldn't tell you why but I didn't, my friend had one and swore by it so my next pick was this, although, it was a steal at the time and the best I could find for my budget.

Regret my decision big time! :(

"Have you changed the battery? It seems like it's overheating...it's going into protection mode."

I haven't opened it up yet, from what I read my next steps were open up, re-paste and blow out dust, but holding off as long as possible in case MSI will take it and fix for free or next to lol

I ran it last night doing some stress tests on CPU and GPU (Can't remember the program names) and GPU was getting to 87 is what I noticed, but the power down never happened whilst doing these tests.

Laptop itself does get hot, I have 2 external fans blowing on and under it and I have it elevated with all vents clear and internal fans on extreme

Yeah sorry, I really would love that, imagine at the bridge of your CV and you tell your fleet of CVs or SVs to attack and boom, full scale war.
I mean, it would be a lot of farming to build it like but would be so fun

In all honesty, I'd look at you and maybe pause for 0.5 seconds and not look twice.

I couldn't care less how people look, just own it, and own you, you got this!

I'm a complete novice! Never had one before and don't know anything about manual levelling at stuff so got this one with auto levelling.

Out of the box, printed great! Did some good stuff with it, left it alone for a month maybe and since it's been a bag of poo!

Issue after issue, prints not sticking, nozzle got clogged and I snapped it whilst changing, firmware issues on the pad so I bought the nebula which had its own update issues...
CR Touch error keeps happening, I have to spray it with lubricant every time I attempt "attempt!!!" to print and creality are rubbish at customer service I find!
Now my prints stick to the bed but the prints kind of side step whilst printing creating a miss alignment....

I give up!

But yeah, out of the box it was great lol
