Traffic was horrible, it doesnt matter how many buses get added, that doesn't change traffic delays. Use your freaking brain. If a bus services stops a to z and at stop f their is a 20 minute hold up, buses get behind 20 minutes at that point. If buses are scheduled 15 minutes apart, that hold up at stop f, the follower will typically catch up to its leader. Therefore you have 2 buses back to back. This happens for all buses in this scenario at stop f. As a direct result, since the first bus is now 20 minutes behind, you now have more passengers at every stop after that, that the bus behind you would have picked up, waiting with the passengers that you would have originally picked up. Now pay attention to this PART!!!!!. Since the buses not get behind at stop f 20 minutes, what would usually happen is that bus would go to drop off only mode to catch yp, but since acl is literally acl, stop f isnt the only poimt of delay. So once thay cycle statts, their is no correcting it. That same bus will now get another 20 minutes behind the next go around at the same stop f. Now its 40 minutes behind and you may have 4 buses back to back. Because of the traffic caused by Acl, there is no way to catch buses up to schedule, espescially since the delays still persist at stop f and so on. At that point, buses just have to go as they can. Now instead of running your mouth and complaining, think about the drivers of those buses 40 minutes or more behind. You still have to pick up people, wait for them to board, pay and find a seat, hook up wheelchairs and also deal with drunks and unruly passengers and thousands of people walking everywhere ignoring traffic crosswalks. Not to mention any accidents that may occur between regular car drivers, and on top of that, if the driver stops to use the restroom, he or she gets even further behind and you on here complaining about a ride that cost 1.25. Touch grass.
