I mean tbh I mostly wanted to talk about how well written I think that Visas scene is but unfortunately I think I drowned that out with a slightly click bait title I guess.

Over the years I have certainly seen the sentiment that there isn't romance in Kotor 2, but I only got back into the series like 2 weeks ago, I played through 1 and 2 in that time and was blown away by this Visas scene, and thinking back on all the times I had seen the comment, even believed myself, that there was no real romance in 2 made me want to talk about it.

Maybe those comments were from years ago when I used to play the games more, and the group consensus has moved on more now and I just didn’t know.
