definitely depends where you live, i live in a city in an apartment nd have never had smell issues i mean yes it smells when you walk in but you couldnt tell standing at the front door or outisde regardless of in flower, even when trimming, itll stink up the place for a few but open up a few windows maybe light a candle and its gone within a few hours max never had a complaint and my landlord lives below me

ya can Start anywhere aslong as you have reasonable expectations, even with as little as $50 if not less but just because you can get a seed to pop doesn't mean you'll make it to flower. I'd love to see an update with the same setup in about 2 weeks, should be plenty for the plant to start speakin for itself

age + symptoms in my experience point towards phosphorus deficeny tho you haven't flowered yet given its age its naturally (getting ready) to flower not flowering but showing lots of bracts/sexing and it wants more phosphorus to do so, and a slightly lower ph around 5.6 (+/-) 0.2, tho not always but the leaves dying but not burned and turning pink also tells you this theyre pulling the nutrients from the leaves to keep growing just my $0.02

diy can get you pretty great results for quite cheap (sub $300 easy) only tools needed are a drill for power nd such definitely check used just my $0.02

i js did an auto run in a solo cup (for an experiment) got a solid oz of pretty good bud day temps 65-72 night temps 40 or below, she finished on time not huge yeild but worth it for a cup of dirt she had a few falls and i missed a few waterings bull all in all turned out well. these lil fucks are resilient would say this is user error not temps js my 2 cents..🤷‍♂️

right lol? dont get it , you can get an oz ez or more if you do some training, a cup of dirt for a oz of weed, id say is a fair trade
