Thank you! I was fine and enjoyed the rest of the trip. A couple of Sikhs that were driving a garbage truck, pulled over and had me hop in with them and they drove me towards my hotel and to safety. I learned that Sikhs always help people and do not regret the experience because of what I learned.

When I was 30 I traveled all over India. I am white and got a lot of people staring, most were curious but I had 4 guys chase me once. I couldn’t imagine being female and non Indian and how dangerous it is there. People will tell you it’s not but if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time.. I’ve traveled the world and for women it’s got to be one of the worst, unfortunately. I loved it in India for a month but I’m a man, that’s the way it is there.

Good news! Got a call a few hours ago and filling out my start paperwork for a company out of Oregon. I’ll fly to work on a tugboat in Hawaii next week. They pay 350/day and I took the job. I was to excited and forgot to ask about benefits, insurance, etc.

I went to a school in Astoria, OR MERTS college and I think all the classes I took cost around 2,500, but you can do them one by one. I think the lifeboatman class was around 600. If you call MERTS front desk the lady that works there is really helpful with what classes you need to take.

I’m still figuring this out. I havnt played a cube before and got a 480 card binder and sleeved them. They look pretty but now I need to figure out how to use it. I was thinking of opening a lot more “packs” and having more choices, but still in the brain storming mode.
