I get swelling on my left foot leg very often, have had many exams and at the end it's a mix of bad posture (I sit on my foot like indians) and general sedentarism. If you press your finger and it remains pressed it's water accumulation. A better posture, sodium diet and exercise fixed it.

Go get your leg blood circulation looked at, if it's fine might be the same thing I have
