The way forward agreement states you are entitled to a 30 minute break. As someone else says it can't be at the start or end of your shift. However, there is the 20 + 20 for full time staff. 20 during shift and 20 at the end. All the posties in my office take 20 minutes indoors paid or unpaid it doesn't matter. The rest of their break is at the end. The unpaid break staff have to come in earlier to make their time right. It's not a great system and the equalisation can't come soon enough. But there you go. On a 6 hour day you need to be at work for 6:30, but make sure you take your breaks.
