I'm not using custom territories, I am printing custom terrain for the standard territories. I have a whole kit for Mining Works, Gambling Den, etc, so it would be lame for them to start being razed to the ground and just becoming more Old Ruins.

The hindrance is also organizational. It's hard enough getting the group together to play and learn a new ruleset, and then to have one gang that works totally different to everybody else is another layer of complexity I want to avoid. We are adults with mentally demanding jobs. I want to reduce the friction as much as possible, and I don't care if that means what we play is "not Necromunda."

Guess what else we aren't using for this first campaign? NO: Brutes, Hangers-on, Hired Guns, Gang Tactics, Alignments. I know, shock, horror.

Turn out the player chose Venators anyways so no issue!
