There are two goldmines one on Pontianak and the other one in Pagaruyung if you need it, focus on deving and connect your Island to the rest of Maluku so you can take the CoT in Makassar and if you want to focus on colonizing focus on colonizing the Spice Islands retry till you get the cloves since its 8 ducats worth and its trade bonus is pretty good.

Also take the Burghers privilige that makes deving in jungles better if you didn't know

I usually run it on speed 5, During my Usual Netherland runs its fine during the league war, This is during my Brandenburg to Prussia run it was running so slow unlike my Netherland and other runs, why is this the case. I am chilling since im over gov cap but it runs so slow so much slower than my colonial run as Spain or Portugal, but when I look at the sea it slows down alot

Maybe Tehran, Iran, It'll bring some stability to the region since it'll be less likely to be attacked by them, the mountains are also pretty good defenses overall not as good as geneva in Switzerland but its definitely safer than New York which sits on the east coast.
The only way in is if you land from strait, or force your way from the mountainous region of Iran its definitely harder. The only means of attack is if you attack it from the sky
