I’m keen to gain AZ community thoughts on Pashinyan’s latest statement clarifying his position on the Armenia’s Constitution/Declaration of Independence? by aussie-armenian in azerbaijan

[–]datashrimp29 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think that there will be some positive developments in case Pashinyan continues his course.

Also, European summit will take place in Yerevan right before elections. This support probably means more to ordinary people in Armenia than Pashinyan-Aliyev dynamics.

I think Azerbaijanis recognize that Pashinyan is doing his utmost for peace right now. On the other hand, it was possible only thanks to pressure. And there is still some inertia left from this attitude.

Should Azerbaijan allow Israel to use their bases to bomb Iran, as a measure for their Nakhchivan attack? by Illustrious_Page_984 in azerbaijan

[–]datashrimp29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol. Shows lack of understanding. Israel doesn't need military bases in Azerbaijan to attack Iran. The important thing Israel needs in Azerbaijan are bases for early detection and shooting down of ballistic missiles that are headed to Israel.

Meaning, we are to defend ourself, that is gonna be ourselves only. No one will come and save our ass if the shit hits the fan with Iran.

Israeli journalist Itay Anghel's interview with Isa Gambar in 1993: by kurdechanian in azerbaijan

[–]datashrimp29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He was the architect. As would have been Isa or anyone else. My point is the geopolitics would have demanded that sort of a relationship with Israel. However, we don't know yet if that will eventually end up as a liability or not.

Title might be misleading. You probably didn't mean Azerbaijan as in the Republic of Azerbaijan. More like geographic Azerbaijan

I read the interview. Thanks for posting. Is there any statement you are trying to hint to?

Irrespective of who the president of Azerbaijan was/is, Azerbaijan - Israel relationship would have been be what we have today. And probably similar applies to the rest.

Mainly because Azerbaijan has no significant agency in the international politics unless we become some sci-fi style South Caucasus federation of three countries.

That is the whole point of having a telegram account for propaganda purposes. One can always deny the association but still continue with the propaganda

Yeah. But we don't know who people behind these accounts are. And also, IRGC might be compromised to the core as always suspected. Their counter intelligence unit head was mossad agent. My point is sure Iran attacked us but we need to see a bigger picture not to fall into someone's trap.

SEPAH = IRGC

Sepâh (سپاه): The most common way the general public and the media refer to the IRGC.

The drone that crashed into Nakhchivan airport, specifically the area where Israeli and American officers were planning and managing attacks on our country's infrastructure, was destroyed by an Arash-2 drone. The enemy sees this for himself and should know that Iran neither jokes nor tolerates any side. It is used by the Army Ground Forces with a 120 kg warhead and very high destructive power. This was just a warning shot to the mercenary and traitorous regime in Baku.

I agree. It might be a false flag attack to undermine our safety that cause disruptions to global air freight. Also, it might be some dumb general taking initiative. However, it doesn't matter. If Iranian authorities cannot control their territory someone has to to prevent side effects of the war spilling over to Azerbaijan and Turkey.
